These kids are not only learning a lot about wildlife, wildlife trafficking and the environmental threats in Bolivia, they are doing something about it, and something big!

Thanks to the support of the Heredia Family, of which their daughter Nicole is in the class, and the Riverijos Ltda. printing press, these kids received some beautifully printed calendars, of the highest quality possible, with photos of the animals of La Senda Verde. The kids set out to sell these calendars, 100 Bolivianos a pop, and gathered 16,000 Bolivianos ($2,332 dollars) which they donated to Cubai’s enclosure!

It is the single largest donation we have received for this rescued Jaguar’s enclosure, we are so thankful to them and to the Heredia family!

The kids were also making some beautiful models of the jaguar enclosure, with the river and the trees next to it, getting really involved with the work behind La Senda Verde. What a great way to educate, way to go ACS Calvert!
