A Bolivian Cumbia music band called Inkognito for short, or “Alex Rivas y su Grupo Inkognito” has decided to begin supporting La Senda Verde, after a visit to the sanctuary. The band’s leader, Alex, along with his wife, the group’s manager, organize a concert every year to raise funds and support charities. Inkognito characterizes for a romantic style of modern cumbia and the name as well as their wardrobe is inspired by the web activists that go under the name of “anonymous”.
Inkognito has been supporting homeless dogs in the past years, but this year they want to support the animals at La Senda Verde. The concert has not been organized yet, but meanwhile they have brought a whole bunch of stuff to the wildlife refuge. Starting with blankets, they are much needed due to the recent cold fronts that have been hitting very hard and very early in the season and have caused the death of three parrots, which we are so sad for.
Other donations Alex has brought to the refuge include oatmeal and medical supplies for the clinic, like alcohol and cotton. We are very thankful with Alex and his band and await for his charity concert which we will be sharing with our audience.
