La Senda Verde doesn’t receive large felines, simply because we don’t have any space. But we had to make an exception for the Puma Espumita, since she had nowhere to go. After the Jaguar, Pumas are the next largest felines in South America, so creating an enclosure for her was a big priority and no easy task.
We didn’t go into a Puma Enclosure campaign, luckily, because we didn’t need to. Thank’s to two very precious beings, Mary Rankin, a volunteer, and Taylin, a model from Canada, each of whom donated 5,000 dollars, thanks to which we were able to build the structure right away. Thanks Mary and Taylin!
